Bed Bugs
Bed bugs are spreading throughout the UK especially in densely populated areas or where there are many frequent travellers. Generally you won’t know you have a bed bug problem until bitten. They are parasites that live and feed on warm-blooded animals, including humans, causing skin rashes and bites. The young bugs are small and hard to see and adult bugs are brown and disc-shaped and generally about 3mm in size.
Bed bugs can survive in starvation for up to a year, so professional assessment and treatment of a bed bug infestation is essential to ensure that they have been completely eradicated. Several treatment visits can sometimes be required.
TREATMENT – After a survey and risk assessment has been carried out, our Pest Control Technician will decide on the best treatment to suit your situation. This would probably consist of a residual spray treatment, followed by fumigation. Depending on the size of the infestation, additional treatments may well be required.
